The Romans Road to Salvation
The Romans Road has been a time-tested evangelistic tool to point sinners towards the cross. It reminds us that none of us are righteous enough to enter into Heaven on our own accord. We need to be clothed in the righteousness of Christ. Jesus came to this earth to become the supreme sacrifice for us. The tiny baby born on Christmas day and laid in a manger was to be offered on Good Friday as the unblemished Lamb of God. This sacrifice was shown to be accepted by Jesus’s bodily resurrection on Easter morning. Today he calls each of us to move into a relationship with him, that he may then present us to God the father as one who has been redeemed by the blood of the lamb. The message is the same as it was when Jesus spoke to Nicodemus nearly 2,000 years ago, “Ye must be born again.” (John 3:7)
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
